I’m entering it in the ConCarolinas costume contest. I’ve never done anything like this before, so I have to admit that I’m pretty nervous. 

I mean who knows? There might be some guy show up in some wicked sweet master chief armor or something and suddenly I won’t stand a chance. I know I really don’t stand much of a chance but I still want to give it a good go. :)

I put a lot of effort into my props. There are quite a few of them, more than I usually make. I made Herbert’s morbid doodle creature, a re-agent syringe, and I’ve got Megan Halsey’s heart in a bag. 

I’m prepared for all potential disasters at this convention. I’ve packed an extra re-agent syringe, extra re-agent, extra fake blood, an industrial strength hot glue gun, and a small emergency sewing kit. 

I’ve got my black hair paint packed for the Herbert costume, and I even went out and got a hair cut for the event! :D

The Miskatonic Medical School logo was transferred onto my labcoat, as I was unable to find a badge in time for the convention. Of course I found one two days ago, but there’s no way it’d be here in time so I’m not going to sweat it.

I shined my old dress shoes and ironed my slacks and I’m ready to go! 

….I just have to make it through my Civics & Economics exam before I go….

I’ll probably bring my laptop with me, I’ll make more posts as the weekend progresses. :3
